HENRY ARENSMEIER FUNERAL IS HELD AT KEYTESVILLE
KEYTESVTLLE, June 6 --Funeral services were held Wednesday in the Methodist Church here for Henry Arensmeier, 82, who died Monday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Vernon Thrash, in Kansas City.
Mr. Arensmeier, born at Washington, Mo., August 13, 1859, came at the age of 23 to Chariton County, locating first on the Bowling Green Prairie, south of Dalton. He was married to Mattie Burns on February 23, 1886, and moved to a farm northeast of Keytesville, where he resided for over 28 years. His wife died November 8, 1914.
Seven children were born to them of whom six survive. They are Robert of Cumberland, Iowa, Mrs. F. W. Syler of Brunswick, Fred and Jess of Keytesville, Roy of Massena, Iowa, and Mrs. Thrash. A daughter died in infancy.
For the past several years he had made his home with his son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Arensmeier of Keytesville.
Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. J. B. Scholl. Burial was in Bennett Cemetery.
