Angeline Matilda 'Angie' Allensworth was born in 1874 in Missouri, daughter of William C. Allensworth (1812-1886) and Nancy Lucinda Coffee (1820-1886). On April 2, 1893 in Lewis County, Missouri, Angie married Robert Calvin Covey who was born February 10, 1872 in Mercer, Missouri (Mercer County), son of John W. Covey (1845-1905) and Nancy E. (maiden name unknown) (1846- ).

The Missouri Marriage Records shows that Miss Angie Allensworth married Robert Calvin Covey on April 2, 1893 in Lewis County, Missouri. Robert was born February 10, 1872 in Mercer, Missouri (Mercer County).

The 1910 Federal Census for Kansas City Ward 3, Kansas (Wyandotte County) shows Angie M. Covey, age 39, born in Missouri; and her husband, Robert C. Covey, a gas plant foreman, age 39, born in Missouri. Living with them were two children: Ernest E. Covey, wagon teamster, age 15; and Neoma R. Covey, age 13; both born in Missouri.

The 1920 Federal Census for Lick Creek, Arkansas (Little River County) shows Angie Covey, age 49, born in Missouri; and her husband, Robert C. Covey, a farmer. age 48, born in Missouri. Living with them was their son, Ernest, a widower and a timber camp laborer, age 25, born in Missouri; and his two children: Drucilla, age 4, born in Arkansas; and Dorcas, age 1; born in Arkansas. Also living in the household was a nephew, John Covey, a carpenter in a shipyard, age 23, born in Missouri.

Angie died March 9, 1927 in Little River County, Arkansas and was buried there in the Oak Hill Cemetery.

The Arkansas County Marriages Index shows that on December 1, 1934 in Ashdown, Arkansas (Little River County), Robert married Mary Alice Brown, who was born in Arkansas in 1878. Her death date is not known but she was buried in the Hermann Cemetery in Hermann, Missouri (Gasconade County). Robert died January 20, 1942 in Hermann, Missouri and was buried in the Hermann Cemetery beside his second wife.
