Emmett E. Scheinoha, age 85, a resident of Harmony Home of Two Rivers, formerly of the Felician Village and also 2350 South 23rd St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday morning, April 18, 2000, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.


Funeral Services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, April 21, 2000, at Holy Innocents Catholic Church. Rev. Gerald Foley will officiate. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery.


He was born November 30, 1914, in Manitowoc, son of the late Lawrence and Clara Leiterman Scheinoha. He married Marian E. Carlson September 11, 1937, in Menomonee, Wis. Emmett was employed with the City of Manitowoc's Parks and Recreation Department for 25 years retiring in 1979. Emmett was a member of Holy Innocents Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus Council #710.


Survivors include his wife, Marian; two sons and one daughter-in-law, James Scheinoha, Orange, Calif., Jerome and Lynn Scheinoha, Manitowoc; two daughters and sons-in-law, Joan and James Dolan, Yorba Linda, Calif., Judy and Joe Ganske, New Ulm, Minn.; seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Pat and Howard Scheinoha.


Friends may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. with a prayer service being held at 6:30 p.m. led by Deacon Paul Kieffer. Friends may also call at Holy Innocents Catholic Church on Friday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 10 a.m.


The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home is assisting the Scheinoha family with funeral arrangements.


A special thank you to the staff at Harmony Home in Two Rivers for their care and attention that was given to Emmitt while he was a resident there.
