[M.Black, Apr 2011] Jacob Wild, age 6, immigrated with his parents (Michel, age 28, and Margaretta, age 26) from the port of Le Havre, France aboard a ship named France. The ship docked at New York, New York on 10 Nov 1836 . From the passenger list, Margaretta Wild was from Wurttemburg and Michel and Jacob were from France. Michel was listed as a farmer. These 3 were the only passengers with surname of WILD.
Jacob married Catherine Black. Catherine died in childbirth when Kate was born in 1865. He then married Mary Miller (Marian Creutmeuller).
