Bertha Mae Camp Smith, 83, of Route 1, box 167, Smith Road, died Monday at her residence after an extended illness. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The Rev. Dr. Jim Phillips and the Rev. Michael Williams will officiate.
Mrs. Smith, a native of Franklin County, had lived in Peach County for the past two years. She was a retired winder tender with Bibb Co.
Survivors include a daughter, Willie Mae Hemphill of Byron; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild.
