Herman A. Albright Norwich
Herman A. Albright, 96, of Norwich, died Nov. 30, 1998, at the Norwich care Center
He was born Dec. 24, 1901, at Pretty Prairie, the son of Christian and Lena Waltner Albright. A lifetime Pretty Prairie area resident, he was a retired farmer and house mover for Carrithers House Moving.
He belonged to First Mennonite Church, Pretty Prairie, where he taught sunday school for many years, and was on the Ninnescha Township Board.
On Feb. 6, 1927 he married Frieda Graber at Pretty Prairie, she died Oct. 11, 1974. In March 1977, he married Anna Flickinger. She died April 15, 1988.
Survivors include: a son, Vernon, Milton; three duaghters, Lola Dowell, Tuscon Ariz., Letha Stanton, Fayettville Ga., and Gail Ranoura, Lakeland Fla.; eight grandchildren,and a greatgrandchild.
He was preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the First Mennonite Church, Pretty Prairie, with Peter W. Voran presiding. Friedns may call from 9 a.m to 9 p.m today at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Burial will be in the First Mennonite Church Cemetery, Pretty Prairie.
Memorials may be sent to the church in care of the mortuary.
