Joseph was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, serving as a member of the first wave at Omaha Beach in Normandy. He served a second tour of duty in the Korean Conflict.
Mr. Adamski owned and was president of Parke Mathematical Co. of Lowell MA, retiring two years ago. He was previously employed as an electrical engineer for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology at the Lincoln Labs and worked at Rome Labs at Hanscomb Air Force Base growing crystals in the research and development department for more than 20 years. He held several patents in electronics and was listed in Who's Who in American Scientists. He had published many technical papers and spoke at many international conferences. He enjoyed collecting model trains and sailing.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Christa (Priemel) Adamski of Bedford; daughters and their husbands Carleen and Steven Korkin of Bedford, and Robin and Richard Arrighi of West Palm Beach FL; four grand-children; stepchildren Jean Maurice, Brenda Barrows, James Barrows, and Michael Barrows; brother Theodore Adamski of Exeter; sister Pearl Lancaster of Wells ME; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his first wife of 43 years, Peggy (Ciccola) Adamski, who died in 1991.
