Mrs. Fred Erdman, 62, Town of Hansen, Dies
Mrs. Fred Erdman, 62, died at 6 a.m. today at her home in the town of Hansen after a lingering illness of one year. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 24, at 1:30 p.m. from the residence to the Immanuel Lutheran Church at Arpin with the Rev. William J. Chellew officiating. Burial will be in the Lutheran cemetery at Arpin.
Born Anna Behling in Germany on April 3, 1876, she came to the United States with her parents Mr. and Mrs. William Behling at the age of five. She married Fred Erdman at Watertown on October 31, 1894, and has been a resident of this vicinity for the past 40 years. Surviving are the husband and three children, Ernest, address unknown, Fred J. and Mrs. Gordon Hansen of the town of Hansen, also three grandchildren, three brothers and four sisters.
The body will be taken to the residence Monday afternoon, and friends may pay their respects at the Krohn and Berard Funeral Home until that time.
