For the third time within a period of six weeks we are vividly reminded of the meaning of mortality. Exactly forty-one days after the death of her husband, Brother Zephaniah A. Bryant), Sister Isadora Bryant fell asleep on July 2, in her 82nd year. She had been in bad health for some time, but had been able to minister to her companion in his last illness, almost to the end.

Sister Bryant was born in Iowa, July 22, 1862, and was married in 1879 to Brother Bryant, who was already a member of the congregation of the Rev. L. T. Nichols, founder of the Megiddo Mission. Together they witnessed at close range the epic of the rebirth of the saving Truth after its long sleep of 1260 years.

She is survived by a son, Amos, three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and three nephews. Funeral services were conducted in Megiddo Church on July 5, the Rev. P. J. Thatcher officiating, with songs by the male quartet. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery. To those who mourn we offer our sincerest sympathy.
