The funeral of the late Mrs. Mary E. O'Herron who died at Clayton last Monday was held from Mullen's funeral parlors at 9 o'clock this morning. The services took place at St. Mary's Church at 9:30 and were largely attended. At the entrance to the church a procession of priests and attendants met the remains and after a short service the procession moved slowly to the altar where a solemn requiem high mass was offered. Rev. John Bell was celebrant of the mass. Rev. William Payne was deacon, and Rev. Leo Mooney was sub-deacon. At the conclusion of the mass, the burial service was read Many offerings of flowers and mass cards were sent by friends. The remains were laid at rest in St. Joseph's Cemetery. At the grave the committal service was read by Father Mooney. The bearers were Charles Hanlon, Henry O'Neill, Fred Mulkin, Charles Bell, Robert Crawford and Jerry Tighe.
