I added a photo of Mary Dutton Lett's obituary from the March 15, 1944 edition of the Evansville (Indiana) Press. We don't have the exact day of her death, but at least we know it was in March 1944. It also tells us she died at her son's home in Fowler, Kansas. I double checked to make sure he lived there; she's on the 1940 census living in Fowler with his family. Her body was brought back to Indiana for burial.
