On April 8, 1955, she married her handsome prince, George Washington Downs, Jr. in the Salt Lake Temple. She is survived by her eternal husband. Ann had a career in secretarial civil service, but mostly her lifelong career and priority was to raise and love her family. Another strong force in her life was her spiritual nature. Ann was proud of her Scottish heritage. She was an avid sports nut. She loved to play softball and watch the Diamondbacks and all basketball games. She loved to attend sporting events for all of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Ann truly loved music and reading. She loved people and they loved her. She loved choosing to be happy and smiling.
