Andrew J. Thatcher, aged 60 years, a well known and highly respected resident of the county, died Thursday morning at 10 o'clock at his home in Cavallo. Mr. Thatcher had been in failling health for the past several months and it was expected that he would never recover.
Mr. Thatcher leaves a widow, Hannah, three sons and two daughters. They are Charles and Burrell of Cavallo, Walter of Holmes County; Mrs. Robertson of Knox County and Mrs. Helman of Orrville. Two brothers in Iowa and two sisters in Tiverton also survive. The funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 10 o'clock from the late home in charge of Rev. C.G. Irwin of Coshocton. Burial will be made in the Borden Cemetery. -- Coshocton Daily Age, March 29, 1912
