Olive Cooper "Ullie" Wallace Allen is the youngest Daughter of Russell Newman Wallace and his second wife, Mary Margaret Coffman Wallace (and the youngest of Russell's 16 children);

Sister of Minnie Gertrude Wallace (Mrs. George W. Yeago), Charles Eugene Wallace (Wife, Frances MacKay), Nettie Wallace (Mrs. Louis Dudley McNulty), Orlena Wallace (who died at the age of 2 years), Albert Newman Wallace (Wife, Lula Adella Brownlee), Maude Wallace (Mrs. John Olin Campbell) and Allen Boyd Wallace (Wife, Florence Stringfellow);

Half-sister of James Augustus Wallace (Wife, Nora Engledove), William Armstrong Wallace (Wife, Minnie Agnes Hobson Wallace), Alexander D'Estang Wallace (Wife, Nancy "Nannie" Coffman), Thomas Archibald Wallace (Wife, Blanche Phelps), Ella Virginia "Eileen" Wallace (Mrs. Henry Hanson), John Morgan Wallace (1st Wife, Nellie Beaty; 2nd Wife Daisy Walser), Lula Katherine Wallace (Mrs. Samuel Miller Davidson), Rachel Elizabeth Wallace (who died in infancy), Edward Thomas Towberman and William Kenneth Batis;

On April 22nd, 1909, Olive married Bernard Peyton Allen in Garland County, Arkansas, where her sister Maude and brother-in-law John Olin Campbell were living.

After their marriage, Olive and Bernard lived in Gordonsville, Orange County, Virginia, where Bernard was working as the Yard Master for the Railroad. Bernard would later become a Conductor with the C & O Railway Company.

Olive was a Member of the "Ladies Auxiliary to the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen".

Olive and Bernard are the parents of four children...
a Daughter, Elizabeth Allen (who married James Chapman, Jr.), and three sons... Wallace Peyton Allen, Stephen Teel Allen and Richard Newman Allen.


Olive Cooper Wallace Allen..... Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Daughter, Sister, Granddaughter, Niece, Aunt, Cousin and Friend to many.

She is lovingly remembered by all of the families who knew her and by those who know of her.

Olive is buried near her husband and other family members in the Monticello Memorial Park Cemetery.
