Edmund W. Ankeny, a machinist at International Harvester Company, Louisville Works, died Wednesday, May 6th at the Kentucky Baptist Hospital.
He lived on Bardstown Road in Fern Creek. He was a union steward for the International Association of Machinists at the Harvester plant.
He is survived by his wife, the former Miss Mabel Durham of Campbellsville; a son, John; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edmund M. Ankeny, Somerset, Pa.; and other relatives. He was a brother-in-law of Mrs. Everett Kerr and Mr. Gowdy Durham of this city.
Funeral services were held Saturday, May 9th, at 1 o'clock at the McAfee Funeral ome in Buechel. Burial followed in Brookside Cemetery in Campbellsville.
