Belva V. Sansom, 99, of Wayne, W.Va., widow of Shirley Sansom, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 05, 2012, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington.
She was born March 4, 1913, in Wayne County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Charles and Stella Osburn.
One son, Jackie Sansom also preceded her in death, along with one brother, Jennings Osburn, and one sister, Ellen.
She leaves behind four sisters, Lena, Mary, Vora, and Dixie; two brothers, Dennis and Orvil. Belva also leaves a real close church family of brothers and sisters in Christ of the Church of Christ, Bluefield Avenue, Wayne, who were a close support for her.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home, with Minister Ron Ross officiating. Burial will follow in the Crockett Cemetery.
Friends may call one hour prior to the funeral on Tuesday.
