Born May 30, 1926, in Homestead, he was a son of Clifford S. and Lillian Jackson Coulter.
He and his wife , Shirley Doenges Coulter, were married 44 hears on March 4, 1004.
A Protestant and member of Hempfield Hunting Club in New Stanton, Mr. Coulter owned and operated a truck leased to Pitt-Ohio Express. In the 1960s, he and his family operated a pony-riding track in New Eagle.
A sister, Katherine Tippett, and a brother, William A. Coulter, are deceased.
