Francis L. Liebl, Sr., 69, of Lancaster, entered into rest on Wednesday, November 28, 2007.
He was the husband of Rose M. (Brill) Liebl with whom he was married 39 years last December.
Francis retired from A-P-A Transport. After retirement and presently, he was a security guard for Brinks.
Born in Lancaster and raised on Cabbage Hill, he was the son of the late Luitpold J. and Marie (Caulwell) Liebl. Francis was of the Catholic faith.
Francis served his country proudly in the United States Army. He was a member of the Lancaster Liederkranz and the 8th Ward Club.
He will also be lovingly missed by four children, Francis L., Jr. married to Valerie, of Mount Joy, Christine M. Napolitan, of Lancaster, Karen S. married to Randy Vollmer, of Millersville and Stephen J. married to Jandy, of Landisville; three grandsons, one great grandson; two brothers, Luitpold J., Jr., married to Genevieve, of Denver and John J., of Hagerstown, MD. He was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Kaufhold.
A Christian Prayer Service will be held at the Andrew T. Scheid Funeral Home, 320 Blue Rock Road, Route 999, Millersville, PA, (717)872-2266 on Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at 10 AM with Rev. Msgr.
