William D "Billy" Akin III died in Carmel,NY June 4,2012,he was a lifelong resident of Pawling. Mr Akin was born Sept.15,1928 in Carmel,NY,to William D and Florence (Ferris)Akin. Mr Akin married Frances M Sprague on Sept.25,1960 in Amenia,NY. Mrs Akin died Feb.10,1997.
Mr Akin is survived by his son and daughter-in-law ,Craig and Brenda Akin of Pawling., and his brother David Akin of Pawling,and his uncle DeWitt Ferris of Danbury,Ct.Burial will be at Maple Ave. Cemetery,Patterson, NY.
