Joe H. Hunt, 77, of Fort Smith died Sunday, Sept. 4, 2005, in a local hospital. He was a dock foreman for the Farmer's Co-op, a member of Temple Baptist Church, superintendent of Sunday school and chairman of the deacons. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Temple Baptist Church with burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Fort Smith under the direction of Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith. He is survived by his wife, Joy; a son, Gary Hunt of Springdale; and two grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jimmy, David, Casey and Heath Borum, Mack Cochran and Mark Daniels. Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of Temple Baptist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Temple Baptist Church, 5100 S. 31st St., Fort Smith, AR 72901.
