Thelma Plummer
Connersville - Thelma Plummer, 78, died Thursday afternoon at Fayette Memorial Hospital where she was a patient one week.
She resided at Lincoln Manor Nursing Center the past four years.
She was the widow of George E Plummer, who died in 1966.
A Fayette County native, she was a member of the Connersville Baptist Temple, South Fairview Home Economics Club, Glenwood Missionary Society, and Columbia United Methodist Women's Society of Christian Service. She was also a former member of the Connersville Rebekah Lodge and a former president of the Orange School Parent-Teacher Association.
Survivors include four daughters, Georgia Adam and Brenda J Plummer, both of Houston, Texas, Claudia Middleton of Fort Wayne, and Sharon DeMoss of Connersville; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren, and one sister, Alma Balser of Oxford, Ohio.
Funeral service for Thelma Plummer will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 26, at Showalter-Blackwell, Myers Funeral Chapel with the Rev Glen Beck of the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, Indianapolis, officiating. Burial will be in Dale Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday and before the service on Monday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Columbia United Methodist Church Building Fund.
