Owen "Dub" Jennings, 80, of Spencersburg died Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009 at the Pike County Memorial Hospital in Louisiana. Funeral services were held 1 p.m., Tuesday at Mudd-Veach Funeral Home in Bowling Green with John Veach officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery in Frankford.

He was born Aug. 11, 1929 in Frankford, the son of Lawrence and Myrtle Myers Jennings. On Aug. 11, 1951 in Bowling Green, he married Betty Ocheltree. She preceded him in death Feb. 18, 1983.

Survivors include one son; three daughters; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; six brothers and two sisters.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Clifton Jennings and one brother in infancy.

He lived in Spencersburg most all of his life. He had been employed as an Air Ram operator at Harbison-Walker in Vandalia for 40 years until retiring in February of 1992. He enjoyed traveling many different places and also enjoyed fishing.

Serving as pallbearers were Bruce Kuda, Andy Jennings, Charlie Jennings, Steve Jennings, L. H. Crawford, Doug Schumach-er and Brad Jennings.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or to the American Kidney Foundation.
