Mary Evelyn (Worthy) (Williams) Boyts, 77, passed away Saturday, June 2, 2012 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. She was 77 years old.
Mary was born April 13, 1935 in Dallas, Texas, the daughter of Charles Edward and Reba Irene (Hicks) Worthy,Sr. She married Donald Lee Boyts in 1980. He preceded her in death May 27, 2012. For 13 years, Mary worked as acorrections officer at Connor Correctional Center in Hominy, Oklahoma. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Pawhuska Genealogy Society. Surviving are: her children: Debora Pradmore and husband, Jack; Bracton Wlliams and wife, Micki; Ronnie Williams and wife, Reisa, all of Pawhuska; Lola Cramer and husband, Donnie of Winfield, TX; Tony Williams and wife, Terri of Arcadia, Tx; her sister: Elta Pollard of Warrenton, MO; Eleven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Don, Mary was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Charles Edward Worthy, Jr.
Funeral services were held Thursday, June 7, 10:00 a.m. in the McCartney's Johnson Funeral Home chapel. Interment followed at 4:00 p.m. in Harper, Kansas.
