Daughter of Fred Douglas Banks Sr. and Donie Ethel Hicks-Banks. Met James William Brown in Dallas, Texas and they were united in marriage April 26th 1938. No children were born to this union. They resided in Detroit, Michigan until Agnes became ill and came back to Houston, Texas to be with her family. Agnes was involved in many charitable organizations in Detroit and devoted most of her life to giving to others. Her wish was to be buried at the feet of her mother's grave.
