She was the widow and second wife of Cyrus C. Cornatzer. Daughter of Joseph and Martha Jane Zimmerman.
At age two her parents moved to Cameron, Missouri where she attended elementary school. She later attended the Christian Female College, Camden Point, Missouri and taught school in Weatherby, Missouri.
She came to Vinita in 1898 and taught in the Longview and Carselowey schools. Later she worked in the office of the late J. C. Starr, her brother-in-law.
She was deputy county assessor of Craig County for about 16 years. She was a member of the Christian Church and of the Rebekah Lodge.
She and Cyrus joined in wedlock Oct.11, 1911 in Craig county.
