Charles P. Eakin, about 42 years old, former resident of this city, died Sunday at his home in Tulsa, Okla., after illness of only ten days. Son of Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Eakin, who formerly resided in this section. Father, now deceased, was at one time county commissioner. Six years ago next January Charles P. was married to Miss Maud Paden, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. R. Paden and for the past four and one half years they had resided at Tulsa. Wife, one daughter, Helen, survive. Mother, three sisters and three brothers, all of whom except one sister, reside in Florence, Col., also survive. Exception is Mrs. Mae Porter who lives in Tulsa.
