Noah died at the age of 3, when he was knocked into a pot of boiling water by other children playing in front of the fireplace. They were in the the home of Frederick and Polly Fiscus in Owen County, Indiana. His Aunt Polly had set the pot from the fire place to the floor to make mush, the other children accidentally knocked him into it. He died from the scald burns. He was buried in the Fiscus family cemetery, Jefferson township, Owen County, Indiana.
