William A. Hankins. RED BANK, Nov. 11. William A. Hankins, father-in-law of Postmaster Frank Pittenger of 21 Washington street, died this morning at the home of Mr, Pittenger, with whom he had lived for 21 years. Death was due to heart trouble. Mr. Hankins was born at Freehold 77 years ago. the son of the late John Hankins. He resided at Freehold up until a score of years ago, when he went to live with Mr. Pittenger. Be sides his daughter. Mrs. Laura Pittenger, Mr. Hankins ia survived by a sister, Mrs. Jennie Rose of Asbury Park. He had been a member of Freehold lodge, Jr. O. U. A. M., for many years. The funeral will be held Thursday at 2.30 o'clock at the home of Mr. Pittenger, with Rev. Lambert E. Lennox, pastor of Grace Methodist church, officiating. The Interment, in charge of Director Worden. jr., will be at Glenwood cemetery, West Long Branch.
