MERIDEN: Jeanette Mize Vaughn, 80, of Baker Avenue, South Meriden, died Friday, April 14, 2006, at the Miller Memorial Community in Meriden. She was the wife of the late Robert T. Vaughn.
Born in Bank County, Georgia, August 18, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Jim and Emmer (Nunn) Mize, and had been a resident of South Meriden for many years.
She is survived by her son David Vaughn of Danbury; 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; two sisters, Gladys Love of Commerce, GA, and Cleo Alexander of Maryland; She was predeceased by her son, Michael R. Vaughn; two brothers, Hollis Mize and Pledger Mize; and two sisters, Claire Sloan and Carrie Anderson.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, (TODAY) at 11 a.m. in Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, in Lula, Georgia. Interment will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
