Vickie J.B. Adams, 61, of Kansas City, KS, passed away Fri., June 1, 2012, at the University of Kansas Hospital. Vickie was born the daughter of Charles Burchfield and Freeda Winnifred (Baxter) Burchfield on Sept. 27, 1950, in Kansas City, KS. She loved her country dearly and was a retired Master Sergeant for the United States Air Force. Survivors include son, Michael Adams (Cassandra); three daughters, Autumn Adams (Michael Ramirez), Courtney Coventry (Stephen) and Kirklyn Adams- Miller (Carlos Hernandez); two brothers, Charles "Michael" and James Burchfield; one sister, Dawn Kelly Serna; and eight grandchildren, Justin, Mercedes, Brahm, Rebekalyn, John Pactric, Seven, Victoria and Emma. Visitation will be Sun., June 3, 4-6 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be Mon., June 4, at 10 a.m., Maple Hill Funeral Home Chapel.
