At his residence, no. 927 Federal street, yesterday died Mr. Samuel R Wanamaker, who for many years was prominently engaged in the bricklaying business in the southwestern section of the city. Deceased was born in Hunterdon County, N.J, September 11 1810, but came to this city early in life. He was an active member in Eleventh Street M.E Church, of which he was a steward and trustee. His funeral will take place on Thursday afternoon and services will be held in the church of which he was for many years a leading member. He was widely known in Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, Ohio and Indiana.
