Edward L. Eddy 72, of Middlebourne departed this life Friday, May 6, 2011 in Wetzel County Hospital, New Martinsville. He was born in Paden City, April 17, 1939 son of the late Arza Ada Chambers Eddy.
Edward was a retired employee of Wizmac and he was a member of the Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Jerry Wayne Eddy.
Edward is survived by his wife Geradine Kile Eddy. A son Paul Eddy (Karen Roberts), Paden City. Four daughters; Tammy Wright (Jimmy), Elk Lick, WV, Pamela Collins, Harrisville, April Eddy (Mike Shaw) and Christina Walters (Tom) all of New Martinsville. Step daughter Karen Doak (Doug), Middlebourne. Grandchildren; Teran Malone and Breuhna Blake, Xavier and Ashlyn Walters all of New Martinsville, Isabella Harper McMurray, PA, Dustin Cunningham, NC, Brandy Wright, Elk Lick and Brittany Dawson, New Martinsville. Step grandchildren Hunter and Bridgette Doak, Middlebourne. Two great grandchildren Damien Dawson and Mckenzie Wright.
Friends will be received at Furbee Funeral Home, Middlebourne, Monday May 9, 2011, 2-4 and 6-8 pm where services will be held Tuesday 1:00 pm with David Haught officiating. Interment in Victory Cemetery, Alma.
