Born in Graz, Austria, his birth name was Franz Bizjak, but he moved to France early in 19th century and joined the French Foreign Legion. There, he changed his name to Francois Bisjak. He married Augustine Roger in Paris and had a son Roger Francois. Died of tuberculosis. He was my grandmother's only brother.
