James E. Fox, 75, of Pocatalico, WV died Saturday, June 24, 2006 in Charleston, WV, after a short illness.

Born November 11, 1930 at Pence Springs, WV he was the son of the late O. Emmett Fox and Hallie M. Reed Fox McKinney.Mr. Fox was a retired truck driver and construction worker.

He was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Gladys B. Fox.

He is the beloved brother of Douglas H. Fox of Hinton, WV, and beloved uncle of one nephew, Larry D. Fox and wife Kathy of Hinton, WV and one niece, Susie Adkins and husband Farrell of Burlington, NC. Also surviving are two great-nephews, Dr. F. Christopher Adkins of Morgantown, WV and Nicholas Adkins and wife, Dr. Jennifer Adkins, of Martin's Ferry, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating.

Burial will follow in the Elk Knob Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral parlors from 6-9 P.M. Monday. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
