Lillian Blanche Warner, 88, of Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, formerly of Alma departed this life Wednesday September 23, 2009 in Heritage Valley Beaver Hospital, Beaver, PA. She was born September 12, 1921 in Wetzel County a daughter of the late Huey and Nellie Gray Shuman.

Blanche had resided with her daughter Sherry Whelpley for the past 4 years in Beaver Falls.She was a past member of Ruth Chapter Lodge OES #7, Middlebourne where she had been a past Worthy Matron and also a member of Martha Washington Lodge OES # 187, New Martinsville. She was a charter member of the Tyler County Fair Board and she was a protestant.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Gerald L. "Red" Warner in 2005. A brother Harvey Shuman and a sister Rosanna Shuman.

Blanche is survived by two sons; Robert Warner and his wife Kimberly of Woodsfield, OH and Jerry Warner and his wife Marcia of Berkley Springs, WV. A daughter Sherry Whelpley and her husband Chet of Beaver Falls, PA. Two brothers Francis and Floyd Shuman both of Carrollton, OH. Ten Grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

Friends will be received at Furbee Funeral Home, Middlebourne, Saturday September 26, 2009 11:00 to 1:00 pm the time of the service with Rev. Donald Thomas officiating. An Eastern Star service will be held at 12:15 pm. Interment Beechwood Cemetery, Alma.
