Mrs. Effie Wardenburg, 83, widow of Fred Wardenburg, a retired director of the DuPont Co., died at Wilmington, Del., recently. The Wardenburgs formerly lived in the Horton and Everest communities prior to moving east many years ago. They still had many friends in this area. The Wardenburg Student Health Center at Wilmington was named in tribute to them. They had contributed $900,000 toward the construction of the center.
