Nola Lee Stevens, age 74, died December 3, 1990 at her home after a valiant fight with cancer.

She was born October 11, 1916 in Panguitch, Utah to Herbert and Sarah Vilate Dickinson Lee.
She married Lloyd Partridge Stevens in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on March 8, 1940.Nola was a devoted wife and a mother to five children. An active member of the LDS Church, she has served in Relief Society presidencies, as Primary president, worked at the Jordan River LDS Temple for nine years and served a temple mission in the Atlanta, Georgia Temple, 1984-85. She was also a member of the Kultura Club. She managed the Church Department at Deseret Book for 12 years.

Survivors: husband, Lloyd, Sandy; mother, Vilate Lee (1898-1996) Sandy; sons, Larry R. Stevens and wife, Sheila; David L. Stevens and wife, Sharon, all Sandy; daughters,Peggy (Mrs. George W. Bench) Fairview, Utah; Susan (Mrs. John D. Monson, Jr.) South Jordan; daughter-in-law, Ann (Mrs. Ray Herman) Bakersfield, California; 22 grandchildren; brothers, George Ray Lee, Sandy; Douglas Lee, Riverton.

Preceded in death by a son, Robert Lee Stevens; father, Herbert Lee; brother, Herbert Jay Lee.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 7, 1990, at 12 Noon in the Sandy 1st LDS Ward Chapel, 8650 South 200 East. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary, 8090 South State, Thursday from 6:30-8:30 p.m. and Friday at the church from 10:45-11:45 a.m. Interment, Sandy City Cemetery.
