Mrs. T.P. Graham Dies At Home In Washington
Friday morning July 20 was bright was bright with sunshine and promised only happiness to us but in the early morning there came a message over the wires from far away in Washington. In the beautiful town of Walla Walla death, that sad messenger, had summoned Mrs. T.P. Graham to her eternal home. She had been very ill for three months and her death was not unexpected. We all remember Mrs. Graham as Mary Green who lived in Zebulon until her marriage to Rev. T.P. Graham. She was always bright and happy, the life of every crowd, and counted her friends by the number of her acquaintances. Mrs. Graham was the mother of four children, one daughter, Mary, now Mrs. V.S. Walker of Walla Walla and three sons, Tom, Louis and Willard. After spending several years in the North Georgia Conference Mr. Graham moved to Idaho. Mary like her new home but has always loved Zebulon and enjoyed so much the two visits she made back her to see her mother, Mrs. M.E. Green and her brothers, Luther, H.L., S.K., and R.K. Green. She had just visited her sons in Oregon and had been with her daughter at WallaWalla only a few days when she was stricken with paralysis and though she lingered for weeks she was never at herself again. Death came on July 19th, to relieve her from suffering and she gained entrance into that eternal home not made with hands which God has prepared for those who love him. - Mrs. W.J. Franklin
