Irene Foran, a homemaker for 74 years, died Tuesday at Valley Manor Rehabilitation Center in Concord. She was 90.
The native of Oklahoma lived in Idaho before moving to Martinez 49 years ago. She was a past member of Assembly of God Church in Martinez. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking and walking.
She is survived by her daughters, Mildred Donohue of Benicia, Doris Riccobuono of Placerville and Betty Vornhagen of Oakley; son, Floyd Boyd of Oakley; sisters, Florence Boyd of Twin Falls, Idaho, and Lena Lucido of Martinez; 14 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Her husband, Floyd E. Boyd, died in 1955.
