Death certificate states he was black, the son of Amanda Love and Edward Sharpe, both of NC, husband of Francena Miriam Robinson, father of Katherine Miriam Sharpe (b. 9th Apr 1913), Madeline Eva Sharpe Foggie, Ruth Robinson Sharpe Wilson Barnett, Hubert St. Clair Sharpe, Jr. (1916-2001) and Helen Sharpe Dougan (b. 2 Aug 1914), he was a railroad Pullman porter and was killed in a train wreck on the P.R.R. at the St. George railroad siding, in St. George, Rockland Twp., Venango County, PA. He was buried in Homewood 3rd Feb 1924. PA DC# 3257
