In sadness but with gladness, Beatrice Angeline Horner, 75, of Manteno, passed from this life Monday (May 28, 2012) into the eternal kingdom of God, surrounded by her family. With her spouse of 57 years, Cledis and Beatrice raised four children together. Vickie (Steven) DeLuca, of Crown Point, Ind., Tammey (David) Snodgrass, of Woodstock, Ga., Wendy Czajkowski, of Frankfort, and Randy Horner, of Manteno, are their loving children.

Bea and Cledis also have nine grandchildren, Sarah, Andrew, Timothy, Jessica, Emily, Daniel, Becky, Danny and Dominick. They will truly miss their grandma. Great-grandchildren are Ashley, Brandon, Logan, Neveah, Bryer, Kayle, Paige and Asher. Beatrice was the daughter of Mary and Louis Beaudin, of Marquette, Mich. Bea was also the beloved sister of Eugene Beaudin, of Yuma, Ariz. When Beatrice was not working retail to help support the family, she greatly enjoyed her friends, pets, gardening and cooking. She also enjoyed being part of the doll club.

The viewing will be from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Manteno. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Manteno. Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery in Glenwood.
