Littleton C. Tuggle, Sr., age 83, of 2741 Moland St., died on Monday, April 9, 1990 at a local hospital. He was born on February 8, 1907 in Kentucky, the son of Albert and Beulah (Thomas) Tuggle. He had been a resident of Madison for many years; and was employed by the Chicago-Northwestern Railroad for 44 years, retiring 19 years ago. He was a member of Northwest Carmen Association. Survivors include two daughters; Doris Eppler of Oakland, CA and Dorothy (Harvey) Goglin of Woodruff, WI; three sons, L. C. (Payne) Tuggle, Jr. of Madison, Gerald Tuggle of Utah, and Bill (Delores) Tuggle of Madison; 21 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three sisters; and two brothers. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Julie B. on July 24, 1976. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 12, 1990 in the Schroeder-Cress Funeral Home, 3325 E. Washington Ave. Rev. Scott Walters will officiate. Burial will be in the Blooming Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11, 1990 at the funeral home.
