He was born December 16, 1946 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Albert and Norma Bailey, Sr. Gator was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War and retired from Coca-Cola after 37 years of service. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Albany and Wooded View Golf Course in Clarksville. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Bailey. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm Friday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Service will be 12:00 pm Saturday in the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel with entombment and military honors to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana. The family requests expressions of sympathy go to American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association.
