I can't find a death certificate on Obediah. However, I found a newspaper article from the Jackson Herald dated November 7, 1918, which states that Obediah died from influenza & pneumonia last Sunday afternoon. The Sunday before November 7th, was November 3rd. Why do they have his marker death date as November 27th?
