James Otis Adams, 88, of Hamilton County passed away Saturday, April 19, 2014, in Hamilton. Service: 1 p.m. Saturday, April 26, in Stacy-Wilkins Funeral Home Chapel in Goldthwaite. Interment: Payne Gap Cemetery in Mills County. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Stacy-Wilkins. He was born Dec. 13, 1925, in Mills County to John Clements Adams and Lena Laura Cook Adams. He was married to Bobbie Louise Duncan on Nov. 15, 1947, in Lampasas. He was a former resident of Saginaw. Survivors: Wife, Bobbie L. Adams; children, Pamela Jones and Harold of Paradise, Robert Terry Adams and Becky of Azle, and Paula Pence Adams and Jack of Saginaw; brother, Frank Adams and Johnnie of Moline; sister, Mildred Butts of Brownwood; eight grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
James and Bobbie lived in Fort Worth, but had a ranch in rural Evant, Hamilton County,and spent time in both places, moving back to the ranch in Hamilton in the last years.
