Mr. David Rusmiselle, the oldest citizen of this place, died at his home on June 13th, after a long illness. The funeral was conducted by Revs. Richie and Wise at Holy Trinity church, of which he was a member for many years. The burial took place in Mt. Tabor cemetery. Mr. Rusmiselle was in his eightieth year and was a devout Christian gentleman and will be missed by all, young and old, who knew him. He is survived by his wife, who was a Miss Fix before marriage and three sons, Messrs. Chas., Newton and George, and three daughters, Mrs. D.E. Beard, Mrs. Elizabeth Jones, and Miss Alice Rusmiselle. He is also survived by two brothers, Adam of Waynesboro, and George B. Rusmiselle of this place, and one sister, Mrs. S.M. Cale of this place.
