Services for Mr. Bobby Evans (Otis) Ratteree
Mr. Bobby Evans (Otis) Ratteree, age 61, of Dallas, Georgia died on Sunday, August 16, 1998 at his residence following declining health since October 1997.
He was born on July 25, 1937 in Paulding County, Georgia, where he was a lifelong resident. He was the son of the late Mr. Glenn Ratteree and the late Mrs. Maudie (White) Ratteree.
He was a member of Yorkville Baptist Church and he was employed at a local auto dealership.
Survivors are four sisters, Mrs. Ann Stoker, Mrs. Dot Thaxton, and Mrs. Frances Taylor and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne (Wanda) Callahan, all of Dallas, Ga.; two brothers, Mr. and Mrs. Phil (Elise) Ratteree of Cedartown, Georgia; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, August 18, 1998 at 2:00 P.M. in Benson Chapel with Rev. Walter Vaughan and Rev. J. Green Tibbitts officiating. Special music was provided by the Tibbitts Family.
Interment was in Yorkville Cemetery. Pallbearers were Mike Hicks, Jeremy Hicks, Mike Brown, Jim Lindsey, Dewey Hardy and Billy Sosebee.
Benson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
