Thirty-five years ago he married
Nora Matthews, who survives with
two sons, Martin J., Greig; and Herbert,
who lives at home; two daughters,
Mrs. Fanny Wright, East Martinsburg; and
Mrs. Michael Maryhugh, Lowville;
a sister, Mrs. Mary Hulburt Watson;
and two brothers, Melvin and
Wallace Orendorff, Lowville.
The funeral was held from his late
home Wednesday at 2 p. m., and a
half hour later from the Petries Corners
Methodist church

was married to Mr. Edward A. Backus
of Rochester, in Trinity Episcopal
Church on Saturday evening, August
30th. The Rev W. L. Bennett, rector
of Trinity, officiated. Mr. and Mrs.
Backus expect to reside in Watertown
for the present as Mr. Backus is employed
at Pine Camp. In the late fall
they plan to leave for Florida for the
winter
