Funeral Rites Conducted Here Monday Morning For Mrs. Mamie Askins --
Funeral services for Mrs. Mamie Taylor Askins, 83, were held at 10:30 Monday morning at Ralston Chapel with the Rev. James Fee officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Askins died Saturday afternoon in the Lincoln County Nursing Home, following a long illness.
She was a native of Lincoln County, and was a daughter of the late John and Bessie Hamilton Taylor. She was a member of the Fayetteville Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Adams of Petersburg, and Mrs. W. D. Matlock of Birmingham, Alabama; one son, J. B. Kidd of Fayetteville; eight grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
