Claude was the son of Sheredon "Dick" Cole and Jane McCall, Husband of Flossie Hampton. Father of Nina, Bill, Ama, Alma, Henery, Vada.

CLAUDE COLE, 75, DIES IN SPRINGFIELD

Funeral services were held Monday in the Salem General Baptist Church for Claude Cole, 73, of Ava, with the Revs. Lawrence Applegate and Marvin Wray, both of Ava, officiating. Burial was in Lutie cemetery under direction of Clinkingbeard of Gainesville.

Mr. Cole died Friday in St. John's hospital in Springfield. He was a retired farmer and was a rural mail carrier for twenty 0three years in Ozark county. He was a member of the Salem General Baptist Church.

He was born March 9, 1898 at Protem, to Dick and Jane McCall Cole, He was married on Aug. 24, 1919, at Protem to Flossie Hampton who survives.

Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Billy Cole, Kansas City, Kan.; four daughters, Mrs. Vada Herd, Springfield, Mrs. Alma Rhodes, Ocie, Mrs. Ama Pellham, Ava and Mrs. Nina Stehle, Ocie; two brothers, Lafe Cole, Ocie, and Floyd Cole, Coweta, Okla.: two sisters Mrs. Bessie Tabor, Forsyth, and Mrs. Liddie Thornton, Rogers, Ark.
